notching up a few more of those spring purchases!

I shan't dilly dally on this post.....I've overindulged this week and it's only Wednesday. This is for purely for confessional purposes (the DH is glad I'm at work for the next two days!). My love of red footwear shows no signs of abating. I stalked these Topshop shoes online for a few days whilst we were snow-bound as they were out of stock in my size. However the shopping fairies were smiling down on me when I visited my local Outfit store on Monday as there they were......just willing me to buy them! I wore them today which wasn't a great idea as although with the sun shining it looks as though Spring is on the way......the freezing cold feet say otherwise.

I was waiting on tender hooks for a Zara order to arrive after being held up by the weather conditions last week. It's the stuff of Intsa-famous things again! But who could resist this dress that was previously 60 or so pounds I believe. Well, it ended up in their special prices section for a third of the price. Although most sizes seem to be gone it's worth stalking for returns! I originally didn't think I'd wear with a dressier shoe but it turns out the new red shoes look good if you chuck on a khaki shackett! Then this outfit has a smidge of Jenna Lyons from J Crew about it!

Zara dress (only size small available when I hit publish)

However I envisage myself getting more wear out of it like this......

After noting on Monday that Gap were about to go into one of their 40% off VIP promotions I hot-footed into Bath on Monday afternoon to grab this (though sadly I had no luck with the jeans that I Instagram Storied about and they are out of stock in my size online! Grrrr!). I am super chuffed with this and thankfully all sizes available online. Mines a small, I'm a size 10 so spot on I say.

A big thanks to my husband who picked up this tee for me (upon my instruction......he is trained very well!) from New Look. I never passover an excuse to get a bit more green into my wardrobe.....and as you know you can never have too many stripes either!

On to today's purchases. This jacket is something I've been mulling over for a while. Once I tried it I just had to have it. This will go with so much stuff in my wardrobe.

And lastly in to the mix, these fab little pumps. I picked these up in H&M for £8.99. Expect to see me wearing these loads. They are faux suede and I love the scallop detail.

H&M shoes - can't find online sadly

Sincere apologies for the screen-grab photos....this quickly becoming a no frills blog. If nothing else it's all authentic! Easier for you to get an idea of things with me trying on though I think? Please do let me know your thoughts on this matter!

    1. The shoes are lovely and soft, a gorgeous shade of red too....I agree that the website totally does not do them justice! I am over the moon with the Gap blouse as I've bought quite a few frilly high neck tops but they just don't seem to suit, the open neck and frilly yoke insomuch more flattering on me xx
