one jacket I wouldn't be without!

Well.....I actually have three versions of a similar kind of thing! This is the perfect inbetween-y weather style though. It ticks a lot of boxes for me. The colour for starters....there ain't many shades that khaki doesn't go with......it's such a neutral! This style can also straddle anything from smart to casual......it's so versatile! Whether you go for the camo print or just plain khaki there aren't many outfits this jacket doesn't compliment. It's the good old army shackett. Today's blogpost has been inspired by my two most recent ensembles. I've had a Zara camo jacket for about four or five years now. It's an absolute classic. Miss Selfridge have done something similar this season.

How I wore mine yesterday....on the dressier side.

Zara jacket, (Miss Selfridge alternative here)
Dorothy Perkins top, similar here
Uniqlo trousers, past season similar here
Topshop shoes, here
Mulberry Dorset tote, past season High St alternative here

Topshop also have a good alternative.

As for my other two versions. Today I've been sporting my oversized style. This one has stood me in good stead for the cooler Spring days when you need to accommodate a few more layers. A more casual look for a hike to the local farm shop with the DH.

Topshop shackett, this season's version here
Bax & Bay sweatshirt, here
Levi CT 501's, here
Adidas Original Stan Smith, here 15% off too!
M&S bag, here

And finally.........this is the most current addition from Topshop, purchased a couple a months ago (I urged you to buy back here).

So now the time is here to shed the coats and get the jackets out.....anyone else have a shackett or two in their arsenal? What's the most useful jacket you have in your collection.....I'm all ears!

The techy-phobe that I am means I've managed to lose a couple of my outfit pics from the past few days so I've nothing else to share. Promise to do better next time!

Anyone have an exciting plans for the weekend ahead? I'm off to Bristol Fashion Week on Sunday for a colour consultation care of the lovely Karen from Mission Style and The Image Consulting Company. I'm keen to learn which shades are best for me......I'm on a mission to step away from usual palette and get more involved with some colour! Anyone else taking advantage of the styling services or fashion shows happening at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway this weekend? Might see you there?

I shall report back in full on Sunday evening! ;0)
