19 January 2017

my purchase of the week!

If you are in need of a little pre-payday treat to beat off those January blues then I think I may have found just the thing for you! I am a lover of all things metallic.....bit of a magpie me! I am also a sucker for bags, so when I saw this little camera bag I zoomed in on it (pardon the pun!). A fabulous mid-week/almost end of January treat for just 20 quid!

Next Bag, it also comes in orange and metallic snakeskin

A couple of shots of the bag in real life! It's a perfect size and shape for my purse, sunnies, keys and a lippy!

Next also do this rather funky navy blue badged version.....

Comes in a black embroidered version too......with a camera style strap! This one is £26

Very cleverly Next have also done some mix'n'match straps you can interchange. Perfect for mixing your look up a bit. My personal favourite is this jewelled snakeskin one.

I bet this one will be a firm favourite amongst us ladies....leopard print being a neutral and all that!

A pretty floral one too!

All gorgeous huh?! Now I couldn't not mention this little beauty from M&S whilst doing this little round-up. Another wardrobe reviver which is on my Spring wish-list ;-)

M&S bag also comes in plain red here

I should have titled this post *purchases of the week* as I have another small wardrobe-refreshing addition to confess to. Since it has a been a dry January for me I've saved myself a fair bit of dosh........well that's my justification for quite a lot of self-gifting this month! Thinking ahead to Spring (bare ankle weather at least!) I couldn't resist these leopard print Mary Jane's.

I think it's about time I gave the long-suffering hubby my flexible friend until payday before I do any more damage! :-/

The new bag was out in force with today's outfit!

Dorothy Perkins faux fur coat, past season alternative here
Bax & Bay sweatshirt, here £5 of every sale goes to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity
Zara jeans, past season similar here
Adidas Originals Stan Smiths, here
Next bag, here

Have you made any January blues related purchases? Are you still scouring the sales for the last (and possibly the best bargains) or are you fully focused on all the new season loveliness that's hitting the stores? I would love to hear.

Until next time!

    1. Ooh I changed it about a year ago! I've 'lost' a few of the blogs I follow too....so maybe it's just a Bloglovin' glitch! xx

  4. Great purchases! I confess to buying a navy Suede skirt from next in the sale ( going to wear to a Birthday party) and have now decided that I need some metallic boots to go with it so just going to see if I can bag myself a bargain! Have a great weekend x

  5. Thank you Vicky! Love the sound of the Next navy suede skirt! I don't buy much in Next but now and again I find a real gem....their shoes and handbags are hard to beat! Anything metallic works so well as a neutral in your wardrobe.....such a good all-year round colour to go for.....keep me posted on your boots search! ;-) xx

    1. Hi Michelle, have gone with the Dune Pearce pointed toe ankle boot ( couldn't get the link to cooperate!) I agree about Next, they have got some nice bits for the new season, have pinned a few of their stripes tops and lovely looking leather pumps. X
