warehouse's make over!

One of my favourite brands is going through quite a transformation at the moment! Warehouse was where I spent all of my Saturday job earnings when I was at school.....it still holds a special place in my heart so I'm really excited to see the changes. Emma Cook who has worked previously for Donna Karan, Martin Sitbon, Ghost and Liberty as well as creating her own label eponymous is their new designer and Alasdhair Willis (husband of Stella McCartney no less....fab fashion credentials!) has also joined as Creative Director. The website has undergone quite a makeover as have the designs which have been styled perfectly for the new A/W16 campaign! So many lovely pieces to choose from.....where to start?!
Well it would have to be dresses....they always seem to be spot on with their styles and I adore these two!!

I've been well and truly one over by jumpsuits over the past couple of months and so this has grabbed my attention since khaki seems to be featuring rather a lot in my A/W wardrobe already!

Some quite quirky details on my picks of tops and sweaters! Love the side detail on this shirt!

Some really amazing knits....these sleeves are divine!

Yet more khaki....say no more! ;0)

If I didn't already have two biker jackets in my repertoire I would seriously consider this suede beauty!

Shoe heaven.....how fab are these zebra print driving shoes!

Some gorgeous boots available as well!

I am swooning over this jacket but I can't even link it as it's not available yet!

So what do you think of Warehouse's makeover? I love the edgy new look! I shall be keeping my eyes peeled on their *New in* each week!

One area I feel that Warehouse are really nailing in the new collection is workwear. I've been a *stay at home mum* for this past year and I'm now starting to apply for jobs. I feel I need some structure in my life once again. As much as I've loved every minute of being at home I'm now craving real interaction with people, as much as I enjoy engaging with my virtual blogging and Instagram friends you just cannot beat getting out there and meeting all different kinds of people! I am looking forward to a new challenge.....I honestly feel this will help me no-end with motivation and inspiration to blog and share! With this in mind I've been looking at the kind of pieces that would be great to wear in all aspects of my lifestyle from the new job to things that will work with my current wardrobe that will crossover so I don't land up with work stuff and play stuff......I'm thinking that these items will straddle a few of the gaps for me!

Hopefully in the near future I will be bringing you a few new looks as I will be sharing my workwear....thus adding another to string my bow so to speak! Any thoughts if you work in an office environment would be gratefully received!

In the meantime here are my most recent ensembles!

  1. Ooh, good luck with the new role Michelle, I feel really lucky to be a sahm, but I know exactly what you mean about the real-life interaction. There are only so many conversations you can have about Minecraft before you start craving the company of adults!! Funnily enough, I went to school with Emma Cook so I've always followed her career with interest. What a great move for her, and Warehouse. Can't wait to see what else she comes up with! X
