warehouse's make over!

One of my favourite brands is going through quite a transformation at the moment! Warehouse was where I spent all of my Saturday job earnings when I was at school.....it still holds a special place in my heart so I'm really excited to see the changes. Emma Cook who has worked previously for Donna Karan, Martin Sitbon, Ghost and Liberty as well as creating her own label eponymous is their new designer and Alasdhair Willis (husband of Stella McCartney no less....fab fashion credentials!) has also joined as Creative Director. The website has undergone quite a makeover as have the designs which have been styled perfectly for the new A/W16 campaign! So many lovely pieces to choose from.....where to start?!
Well it would have to be dresses....they always seem to be spot on with their styles and I adore these two!!

I've been well and truly one over by jumpsuits over the past couple of months and so this has grabbed my attention since khaki seems to be featuring rather a lot in my A/W wardrobe already!

Some quite quirky details on my picks of tops and sweaters! Love the side detail on this shirt!

Some really amazing knits....these sleeves are divine!

Yet more khaki....say no more! ;0)

If I didn't already have two biker jackets in my repertoire I would seriously consider this suede beauty!

Shoe heaven.....how fab are these zebra print driving shoes!

Some gorgeous boots available as well!

I am swooning over this jacket but I can't even link it as it's not available yet!

So what do you think of Warehouse's makeover? I love the edgy new look! I shall be keeping my eyes peeled on their *New in* each week!

One area I feel that Warehouse are really nailing in the new collection is workwear. I've been a *stay at home mum* for this past year and I'm now starting to apply for jobs. I feel I need some structure in my life once again. As much as I've loved every minute of being at home I'm now craving real interaction with people, as much as I enjoy engaging with my virtual blogging and Instagram friends you just cannot beat getting out there and meeting all different kinds of people! I am looking forward to a new challenge.....I honestly feel this will help me no-end with motivation and inspiration to blog and share! With this in mind I've been looking at the kind of pieces that would be great to wear in all aspects of my lifestyle from the new job to things that will work with my current wardrobe that will crossover so I don't land up with work stuff and play stuff......I'm thinking that these items will straddle a few of the gaps for me!

Hopefully in the near future I will be bringing you a few new looks as I will be sharing my workwear....thus adding another to string my bow so to speak! Any thoughts if you work in an office environment would be gratefully received!

In the meantime here are my most recent ensembles!

seeing red!

These past few weeks I have gone from zero colour in my wardrobe to no less than three new red dresses.....even a touch of pink is in on the colour action! After a couple of dodgy weather days over the weekend I've turned my attentions to the looming transitional change in the forecast and what I might buy to bring a bit of life to the more muted colours I usually wear come A/W. For me the quickest way of uplifting your wardrobe is new shoes....so it's may not come as that much of a surprise that I'm looking at red trainers. As always I've turned to Pinterest for a bit of inspo!

Rather handily Grazia magazine currently have a 25% off discount! There is a voucher in the magazine....however I took a chance and used the code GRAZIA25 online.....and it worked! Get shopping! These are the styles that made my shortlist......I've specifically plumped for red suede!

First up is the classic Adidas Stan Smith......I would infact heed the advice of my lovely mate @susiesoso and change the laces on these from red to white. I would have loved the red and white Gazelles....but sadly I had a bad experience with the fit of some navy ones last year....at least with the Stan's I know they are comfy!

The husband has just got a pair of these in black suede....so I'm not sure it would be such a great idea for us to have matching trainers so these are out of the equation as much as I love them!

I have actually gone with my signature trainer but gone for something different to my usual chuck low style and plumped for these gorgeous Converse One Star's. Fingers crossed they will arrive tomorrow.....judging by the weather forecast I could well be road-testing them over the weekend! ;0)

Have you purchased anything with your transitional wardrobe in mind yet? I would love to hear!

What have I been wearing these past few days......

next's best things!

So....the holiday is over, the school holidays are almost over and the weather has taken a turn for the worse. However, Next have come to the rescue! This landed on the doormat on the other day....and the timing could not have been more perfect!
When I had five minutes earlier, armed with a cuppa I had a good flick through this. I don't normally buy that much from Next but after being introduced to these gorgeous boots below by this lovely lady on Instagram I decided to see what else they have on offer this season and I was pleasantly surprised when I realised here were the humble beginnings of my A/W16 wardrobe!

Next pixie boots (these are described as suede but they are pony hair leather upper!)

None of this looks to be available to order until late August! Gah....but I want it all now! This sweater is top of my wish list as I love the print.....everyone loves a bit of leo.....and those are my three favourite colours right there! Black, khaki and red! What's not to love!

More red....yup, I've become addicted over the summer to all things red. Love this Chloes-que style sports luxe top! I have a star print maxi from last year (similar here) which I will wear under this with my Nike Blazers!

I haven't yet succumbed to the embroidered jeans trend but I am very taken with these cargo trousers (these are available now).

Next have also come up trumps with this gorgeous metallic pleated skirt in pewter!

Next pewter pleated skirt, also available in green and rose gold

I've set my sights on a couple more gorgeous tops, more of the going out variety....both would be fab with ripped skinnies for date night ;0)

I shall be researching this little lot once it all becomes available to order....so I shall be back in the very near future with my findings!

Just going to leave you with one more A/W16 gem that I stumbled across in M&S......which is right back on my radar after some of my magnificent sale bargains!

Now my A/W16 wardrobe in well underway! Have you purchased anything yet?

Here's what I've been wearing over the last week or so.....since I've returned from my hols!
