A splurge or steal of sorts....

I say of sorts, as this fabulous splurge sweater seems to be sold out everywhere which is no surprise as I spotted it on none other than the amazing *The Working Girl* Instagram feed! That Claire has really fantastic taste so it's not too much of a shock that the Vanessa Bruno Canis sweater is no longer available.....because she wears it so well!

In fairness the Vanessa Bruno sweater would have been a little bit on the pricey side at £295 for me with my more High Street budget! However....thankfully the shopping fairies must have been smiling down on me because then......as if by magic I saw this brilliant homage on another Instagram feed (can't recall whose though unfortunately!

This is a lot more palatable £25.99 but I was luckier still as I managed to snag this on Black Friday with 20% off which made it just a shade over 20 quid.....well you can't argue with that can you?! I picked my order up (along with my Christmas wishlist leo clutch...thanks in advance to my MIL!) from the store yesterday and couldn't wait to wear it today!

Topshop coat, past season similar here
Pull & Bear sweater, current here
Zara jeans, current here
Converse, here
Lulu Guinness bag, via eBay

So what do you think of my style steal and anyone else with a real bargain bagged last weekend to share?

  9. What a bargain! If I'm honest, (whispers), I think I prefer the high street version. It's the round neck that does it for me. I was very virtuous, and didn't buy anything on Black Friday weekend...only to decide that I must have a Banana Republic parka as soon as the 30% discount disappeared. Doh! xx
