Wardrobe revivers.......

......I managed to snag in the sales.

I wasn't going to look at anything in the sales as I didn't think I needed anything in particular and to be honest the thought of trawling through a heap of sales stuff on the off chance that I might find a gem has held no appeal for me. But I've had a little success with some online sales shopping though. I had the idea in my head of the idea of a couple of wardrobe up-daters. These are on-trend items that I may be a bit late to the party with but that have brought a smile to my face and given my wardrobe a new lease of life! Even if I only wear them for them next couple of months I won't be out of pocket as they were complete bargains. I'm still removing items from my wardrobe on a weekly basis (I've shown another 8 pieces the door over the past 2 weeks) so I don't feel I'm over- loading myself with stuff either but I've had my sale fix!

So without further ado......

I admit to being heavily influenced to buying this Warehouse off the shoulder top after seeing something similar on the lovely Eve's post here.

Eve also inspired my next purchase. I tried these ASOS Maddox jeans in black before back here but sent them back. However when I saw her in these Zara crops here I tried to track them down in my local branch but ended up ordering the Maddox again in blue denim as they were down to £10.50 which I could justify if I only end up wearing them a handful of times!

Ta-dah! Here they are styled together but the real beauty of both these bits is that they go with a multitude of what I've already got!

I would love to hear what you've snaffled in the sales.....have you made investment purchases or have you been like me and snapped up some on-trend bargains?!

I am now in the full throes of trying to decide and pack for a week in Devon....just as the weather decides to take a turn for the worse!! Should make for an interesting post.....wish me luck!

As always I love reading and responding to your comments.

Until next time!

  7. I love your outfits, especially the Asos jeans, so much that I decided to buy them and at that price you can't go wrong. Could you help me with the size? I'm UK size 12-14, I got the M&S cropped girlfriend jeans in size 12 and they're a perfect fit. Should I size up?

I wish I could send you all the sun you need from Israel!!!
    Cheers, Tanya

    1. Hi Tanya! They are such a great price aren't they! A bargain not to be missed! I got the 28" w and 32" inside leg which would be my normal size jean most places i.e ASOS, Gap and Topshop which seem to be where most of my jeans come from! Hope that helps!
Yes please to that offer of sending some sun our way! Thank you for the lovely comment! xx

  9. Love your off the shoulder top...fab & it goes perfectly with the new jeans (& what a bargain!). As you know, I've not bought a great deal recently with everything that's been going on.....couldn't even be tempted by the Gap & Boden sales, I must be coming down with something!! 😉 xx P.S: enjoy Devon!

    1. Thanks Sian, I love the top too...it is definitely coming to Devon with me and I'm looking forward to trying it with skirts, skinnies and shorts! The jeans are coming too as they look fab with a camo sweatshirt and my Converse....I shall be flogging both bits to death during the next few weeks! Avoiding the sales now....my Converse need replacing so that's my next purchase sorted! Good luck....very excited that everything is coming together for you, no wonder you are not being tempted too many other lovely things happening for you! Hope to catch up again soon! xx

    1. Thank you Helen! The top is a fab crepe material and it's not too elasticated that it pings up over the shoulders all the time! I can't stand fiddling with clothing all the time so this one was a great find....I tried a few as you can imagine! ;0) xx

  11. Love your sales purchases...they look perfect together. Great selection of outfits...love the white dress, sp pretty. I got a couple of Boden maxi dresses in the sale...gorgeous jersey fabric and the perfect length...being 5ft 1" the petite length is often too long in most stores! x

  12. The new pieces will slot right in with your existing wardrobe - such a bonus especially as you've picked everything up in the sales. I felt I was doing really well too but I seemed to have suddenly ordered a whole load of stuff! Not to worry, most of it's going back anyway!

    1. It is so easy to go a bit wild in the sales....especially when you see everyone else buying loads! That said, having got my wardrobe under control recently in terms of manageable amounts of stuff I am now very conscious that everything that I add really does have to slot in perfectly with my existing wardrobe. I'm now looking towards what I *need* for the next season....well the tricky transitional bit anyway!
Look forward to hearing/seeing what's been coming in and going out as far as your sales purchases go! xx

  16. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
