Rock Goddess chic!

Whilst perusing Mail online last week I stumbled across this fab ensemble on Chrissie Hynde at the NME awards. Chrissie would not be a usual source of inspiration for me but I adore this outfit! I am hoping to look this cool when I reach 63! Can you believe she is 63?!

A look that could easily be sourced from the High Street!

Forever 21 graphic T-shirt
Flared trouser from ASOS

You might be interested to know that Chrissie was featured in the Guardian's 50 best dressed over 50's in 2013, see here. There are so many great sources of inspiration out there for the more mature lady....and gentlemen! So, are you going to grow old gracefully......or disgracefully! ;0)

Just a couple of outfits to share again from the end of term to present day!

  7. Loving the "transitional" outfit of the cricket jumper and pea coat! I'm glad there's pockets of weather where it's starting to feel a little like spring now.

And my secret style crush - Sharleen Spiteri from Texas. Love that woman and have done since I can remember!

    Hi Michelle
Would you say the Bugiano's run true to size? Some have popped back into stock at £43!! Am normally a size 6 and am wondering if any point in ordering a 5 just to try - no 6's, sniff.......

    1. Hi! I would order and give them a go you know! I tried them on instore on the red in a size 5.5 and they fitted fine! rI got home and ordered the 6 (that's my usual size) and I think they do come up large, could have easily got away with with a half size down. Their refund policy is excellent so it's worth a try! Hope this helps!

Yessssss!! Can just about get away with it. It's a strangely pleasing thing to look down and see a pointed toe for a change - fab fab fab! :)

  9. What a great picture, she's such a brilliant example isn't she? I heard an interview once where she said that she doesn't even like to have make up put on or having her hair done for photos and stuff, she just turns up, gets it over and done with, and that's it. You either take her as she is, or not at all! Makes a change from some of the stretched faces you see on women way older than CH...

Love all those outfits of yours, as usual, and it is nice to see a bit of Spring-like weather starting to emerge, isn't it? I'm dying to get out of the big coats now, can't wait for a bit of warmer weather! xx

    1. I love the fact that she is so low maintenance! Her outfit it so simple, the pink coat is a bit of a curve ball as I would normally expect to see her in a biker jacket or tux type jacket which is why I think this outfit appeals to me so much.....I definitely want to follow in her fashion footsteps!!
Bring the Spring on, I'm trying to wear lighter colours to get in the spirit of things at least! xx
