A couple of days away!

We are off for a couple of relaxing days away in this lovely part of the world, Devon.

After seeing Donna's fab post here about packing for a mini break, I thought I'd share with you what I'm taking clothes-wise for our little trip!

Here's the sum total! We are right on a beach so wellies and a sensible coat are a must. I aim to just lounge, relax and indulge in a few treatments while the hubby keeps the little 'un entertained in the indoor pool. I've tried to keep the amount of stuff to a minimum and so it's all black and grey!

Here's my travelling outfit consisting of a chunky knit, harems and my trusty Stan's

Zara sweater (A/W 2014)
H&M harems (A/W 2014)
Adidas Stan Smith's (via eBay, buy here)
Jigsaw bag (via eBay)

There will be an opportunity to dress up a little in the evening in the hotel restaurant so I've packed my Hush drop waist dress and Aldo boots.

Hush drop waist dress (still available here)
Aldo Bugiano boots (sold out)

Outfit for day 2.

Topshop cardigan (A/W 2014, similar here)
Uniqlo merino crew neck (A/W 2014)
H&M harems (A/W 2014)
Adidas Stan Smith's (via eBay, buy here)
Jigsaw bag (via eBay)

Evening 2 outfit.

Whistles Edie (recent sale purchase)
H&M faux leather leggings (current, here)
Aldo Bugiano boots (sold out)

Day 3 for the journey back home.

Zara sweater (A/W 2014)
H&M faux leather leggings (current, here)
Adidas Stan Smith's (via eBay, buy here)
Jigsaw bag (via eBay)

A few extras to keep extremities cosy and dry for a walk along the beach!

North Face coat (ancient)
Hunters (ancient)
New Look beanie hat
H&M snood
Primark leather gloves

Here I am in today's travelling outfit! One of those v.classy pub loo selfies!

Dressing up a bit for dinner!

I'll be back in a couple of days to share the rest of my outfits and with my Spring/Summer wish list!

As always I love reading and responding to your comments!

Michelle xx

    1. Who knew we could be so organised?! It's easy when you stick to a colour palette and you pretty know what's in store so that you can dress appropriate! We've been to this place before so this time it's been easy! Can't believe we are enjoying such glorious weather though...we got lucky this time xx

    1. I think good packing is an art Lorraine.....one I aim to get better at before I go on holiday in May!! I have a couple of overnight dilemmas coming up which I really need to start putting some thought into as I really need to pack as light as possible! Yikes.....now there is a project! xx

    1. Ahhh, yes Becky, truly a lovely relaxing start to half term, can't say the rest of the week once we get back will be so enjoyable ;0) It is beautiful here and I can safely say I would be happy to stay for the rest of the week but it might mean getting very creative with the few items I've bought of a major shopping expedition.....now where is the best shopping local to here I wonder?!! Or perhaps I could get ASOS to deliver here for me.....in my dreams xx

    1. Thank you Sarah! I tried not to over-think things and luckily I knew that our accommodation here would mean we could spend a lot of the time slobbing around, not caring quite so much about what we look like hence the trusty H&M harems! Thankfully we came in the car this trip which meant there was room for a bit more! Glad I kept things simple and to a minimum though! xx

Am sitting on our veranda with a glass of prosecco! The food here is divine and we have been thoroughly spoilt. Total bliss! xx
